PB75 Professional Blend Gel Wax is a transparent, jelly-like wax made from a combination of mineral oil and a polymer resin (typically a form of thermoplastic resin).

This unique composition gives gel wax its signature clarity and elasticity, allowing candle makers to create visually striking designs that showcase embedded decorations such as shells, glitter, or coloured wax embeds.

Unlike traditional waxes, gel wax burns slowly, offering an extended burn time and excellent scent dispersion when used with compatible fragrance oils. Its crystal-clear finish makes it ideal for creating decorative container candles, layered designs, and novelty candles that highlight artistic creativity.

Technical:
• Melting point – 70 degrees
• Heating range – 100 - 130 degrees
• Pouring range – 90 - 110 degrees
• Fragrance loading - 3-5%

For Minimal Bubbles: 

We recommend heating to 130 degrees, adding your fragrance immediately and stirring slowly for 1 minute, then pour. 

  • Maximum fragrance additive – 5% depending on potency of fragrance.
  • For wax to be clear, use a fragrance oil with no or little vanillin content

For Bubbly Effect: 

We recommend heating to 100 degrees, adding your fragrance at 95 degrees and stirring quickly for 1 minute, then pour between 85 - 90 degrees. 

  • Maximum fragrance additive – 5% depending on potency of fragrance.
  • For wax to be clear, use a fragrance oil with no or little vanillin content

Our recommendations:
The above temperature guidelines are recommendations only, fragrance oil percentage, wicks, dyes and other additives may affect the outcome of your candle. Pure Candle Supplies recommends testing to achieve your desired results. Pouring temperature may need to be adjusted seasonally to adapt to environmental conditions.

Safety recommendations: 

• Melting your wax - Ensure wax is melted directly into a saucepan/pot (not double boiled) and continually monitored. 
• Protective equipment - Gel Wax can reach temperatures up to 130 degrees - take care when handling the wax and is recommended to wear gloves when transferring from a stove to pouring jug. 

***Fragrance oils with a high vanillin content may cause cloudiness of the product. It is recommended to use fragrance oils with a minimal vanillin content and max usage of 5% ***

If your goods are damaged or defective in any way on delivery, please contact us at hello@purecandlesupplies.com.au as soon as possible to arrange a suitable remedy, such as return, exchange or refund.

To apply to return a product we request that you:

  1. Notify us within 7 days of your delivery that you will like a refund.
  2. We'll send you a return shipping label and you can book in a pick-up address and time that suits you.
  3. Upon inspection of the goods returned, if they are in the same condition as to how they were sent*, we will issue a refund to you.

If goods are damaged during return transit, the value of these items will be deducted from the refund.

*’Same condition to how they were sent’ simply means – no damaged labels, products stored in appropriate temperature conditions (not in a freezer or in direct sunlight or in damp conditions). The shipment is to be sent back in the original box.
