more about candle dyes

Candle dye chips: 30 colours for soy and coconut soy wax

Concentrated dye chips that give you repeatable colour batch after batch, without the mess of liquid dye. Every colour is $6.50 and works across our soy, coconut soy and bee soy waxes.

Why chips rather than liquid

Liquid dye is hard to measure by eye and easy to overdo. Chips let you count what you add, so the tenth candle in a run matches the first. That matters when a customer reorders a colour six months later and expects it to look the same.

Browse by colour family

  • Classic: the everyday range, including black, white, red, rose, beige and taupe.
  • Bright: fluro pink, fluro green, fluro yellow, fluro peach and paradise for a bolder range.
  • Dark: forest green, dark blue, dark brown, mulled wine and shadow for moody, seasonal collections.

Earthy tones like terracotta, palo santo, pumpkin spice, apricot and pistachio sit across the range and pair well with amber and frosted glass.

Getting the colour you want

Start with a single chip per kilogram and build from there, testing in the wax you actually pour. Colour reads differently in clear glass than in frosted or matte, so test in your finished vessel rather than a sample cup. Dye does not affect scent throw, but it can affect how a candle looks once it cures.
